In Loving Memory of My Mom Gershwin-Wild Embraceable You #mothersday #gershwin #piano #musicmemories
LisaSpector.com
On Mother's Day, I pay tribute to my late mother, reflecting on her profound bond through music. With heartfelt anecdotes and memories, I share the impact my mother had on my musical journey, from being my first piano teacher to offering unwavering support throughout her life. Through tears and tender recollections, I honor my mother's legacy of love and passion for music, embodying her spirit as I perform one of her favorite compositions, Earl Wild's arrangement of Gershwin's Embraceable You. Wearing my mom' shirt and jewelry, I invites you on a deeply personal journey of remembrance and healing, celebrating the enduring power of music to connect hearts across time and space.

Lisa, what a beautiful tribute to your mom. I didn’t know she had been your first teacher. Of course she was proud of you and no doubt in awe when you progressed so far from those early times. I also lost my dad last October. People asked me how I could play at his funeral (which was in Ohio). My reaction: how could I not? It’s the way we musicians best express our deepest emotions. ❤❤❤ Hugs and condolences, from Dan

May I suggest that you do something about the mike setup so that your voice doesn't drop in and out so much when you turn your head. I have decent speakers connected to my PC, but someone with a lesser rig would probably struggle to hear you. Regards.
